From the Director of Gattaca comes a new SF film where, in a not-too-distant future when the ageing gene has been switched off, people must pay to stay alive. To avoid overpopulation, time has become the currency and the way people pay for luxuries and necessities. The rich can live forever, while the rest try to negotiate for their immortality.
A poor young man is accused of murder when he inherits a fortune of time from a dead upper class man, though too late to help his mother from dying. He is forced to go on the run from a corrupt police force known as ‘time keepers’.
The Plan
7.00pm – Meet at the box office, get out tickets and then head for some food near to the cinema
9.10/9:30pm – See the evening screening of whatever film we want. The program for In Time is 910 and the film is probably 925. Other films are within 10 mins of that.
