Mirror Mirror was written in 1979 by Robert Calvert, inspired by his friend, Helen Mirren. It portrays Eleanor Bryant (Eva Gray), her psychechromic dress which responds to her feelings and moods, a multiperspectival mirror which reflects her image as others see her, and her encounter with a Mirror Technician from Reflexotronics (Christian Devellerez).
A futuristic fantasy, set in 2030, by the renowned writer, poet, musician & lead singer with Hawkwind Robert Calvert (9th April 1944-14th August 1988). Directed and produced by LΓ©onie Scott-Matthews who first presented Robert Calvert at Pentameters in 1969 reading from his play βThe Boxβ. He subsequently read his poetry there and LΓ©onie Scott-Matthews commissioned him to write the successful play βStars That Play with Laughing Samβs Diceβ which has had several productions at Pentameters and elsewhere over the years.
Mirror Mirror will be a multimedia event, featuring poetry, film, specially commissioned music and set designs.
