SUMMARY:THEATRE NIGHT - Mirror Mirror by Robert Calvert
DESCRIPTION:Mirror Mirror was written in 1979 by Robert Calvert\, inspired 
 by his friend\, Helen Mirren. It portrays Eleanor Bryant (Eva Gray)\, her 
 psychechromic dress which responds to her feelings and moods\, a multipers
 pectival mirror which reflects her image as others see her\, and her encou
 nter with a Mirror Technician from Reflexotronics (Christian Devellerez).\
 n\nA futuristic fantasy\, set in 2030\, by the renowned writer\, poet\, mu
 sician & lead singer with Hawkwind Robert Calvert (9th April 1944-14th Aug
 ust 1988). Directed and produced by Léonie Scott-Matthews who first prese
 nted Robert Calvert at Pentameters in 1969 reading from his play ‘The Bo
 x’. He subsequently read his poetry there and Léonie Scott-Matthews com
 missioned him to write the successful play ‘Stars That Play with Laughin
 g Sam’s Dice’ which has had several productions at Pentameters and els
 ewhere over the years.\n\nMirror Mirror will be a multimedia event\, featu
 ring poetry\, film\, specially commissioned music and set designs.\n\nSet
