Orson Scott Card declared Persona non grata
On the 29th November 2011 The Science Fiction Bookclub declared Mr Orson Scott Card Persona non grata and removed all records of our first offical meeting where we discussed one of his works in protest at Mr Cards history of repeated homophobic comments and writings as well as advocating a church with a history of racist policies. No further works of Mr Cards will be discussed at future bookclub meetings.
The Science Fiction Bookclub urges all its members and the public to boycott Mr Cards works in any form or at the very least buy them second hand.
