I love the fact I now get to read at least 12 Science Fiction books every year! Love reading. Love Sci-fi. Nuff said.

Please suggest ONE SF novel. No 'classics' or famous books please, everyone says Foundation, Dune, Philip K.Dick, etc. Unexpected choices are welcome. If your new to SF please say :-) THESE QUESTIONS ARE TOTALLY OPTIONAL BUT REALLY HELP US.

Book of the New Sun by Gene Wolf - Huge, complex and a book I come back to every 10 years or so.

Where did you first find out about us? Please be as specific as you can. A bit more than 'google', 'meetup' or 'a sign' would help :-)

I found out about the group when one day I suddenly thought "I know, I'll start a Science Fiction Bookclub"

To cover costs RSVP's are paid in advance via PayPal (no exceptions sorry) & there is a £2 Honorarium. Please indicate you're cool with the RSVP charge (& hopefully the Honorarium. The link is on the left of the screen <----------------------)

PHotography has been my hobby for over two decades. I took many pictures for people and with good karma, lots of people take pictures for me too. My profile pictures were taken by friends attending my events and the rest I took for the last three years. Thank you for the compliment.

Hello, thanks for your message. I saw the advert for your club in my library and thought the books looked interesting. I don't think I can make it to the next book club, as I'm getting married on the 13th, so I'll probably have to prepare for that.

Just letting you know in case you'd changed your mind, the bike tom is cancelled unfortunately...the weather forecast is windy and rainy. This is a long ride it's no fun if people are wet and miserable! I'll let you know when I rearrange it,
